Saturday?

I think it's time to ride. Ride the Loess hills.

I have a route.

And said route happens to contain a wee bit of gravel. Maybe a mile or two. Think of this route as a gateway drug to a more serious gravel addiction. There will be some hills, of course, it wouldn't be one of my routes if it didn't.

Wohlners, 10am, about 70 some miles. I might be on a cross bike, I might be on my road bike. Both will work equally well.

Hammerfest or base miles?

Can I survive the gravel on 25cc gatorskins? (No cross bikes in my garage, alas....)

What are you thinking re:Sunday?
E.O'B I'd think you'll be just fine on 25s.

The ride will be exactly 96.2% pavement :) 25's will be fine, that's what Woodman is running. We'll start with heavier gravel in the next couple weeks. Last year I did a ton of Loess hills gravel on my Madone with 25's.

Mind you at the tail end. like within the last 20 miles we'll hit multiple 10-13% climbs and one mega 16%, just FYI.

What are you guys doing sunday? I need some good gravel routes around here. I am tired of the Keystone/Papio/Bellevue.

DOH! I got plans on Saturday. But I might be able to do a Sunday afternoon ride. Man that ride sounds like fun though.

Dear Savory,
Can I come too? I'll be in West Omaha with my sister. Where should I meet you? Also how long will it take?
Love,
Carp
