Back from MPLS. Great trip. Our hotel was right on the green belt in midtown and just a few blocks from where the MWC/War Axe clan was staying.

Night one took is to this sweet diner just down the street with Emily from QBP and Cory from Kona. Mohawk swung by as we were finishing up our 3 pack of High Life 40's. Then it was over to One On One where there was the standard party going down thanks to the folks at HED. Met Zito and was introduced to Paul, HFF creator.

Morning coffee at CRC. Hadn't seen Hurl since his Catera days, yep, that was 10 years ago. CRC is sweet, I loved the vibe Hurl's created, wish I could have spent more time hanging out. Next up was QBP. More familiar faces, little bit of business and a little food. New Brooks stuff is spot on. Drooled over the XT hydros some more, thanks Rick. Threw down on dinner at the Triple Rock, followed by pitchers at Grumpy's and then back to One On One to close day two. Saw SS buddy Joel from KC and met Zeke, finally putting a face with the name. Ran into old school Lincoln wrench Adrian who used to work at Deluxe Bicycles. Nate, Sam and I got some plans layed out for the 5-O, the NE Contingent will be at full force.

Sunday morning and the hunt was on for breakfast. What better stop than the Bryant-Lake Bowl. Theater, bowling, booze and breakfast. Anne and I were the only ones not drinking. One last spin by QBP and it was off to battle the Iowa blizzard. Plan was to have dinner with Emily in Ames. Weather made us hang a right on 90 and settled for De Andas in S. Souix City.

Damn fine weekend. Super stoked on Uptown/Midtown MPLS. It's got me thinking about the HFF...
